The Charlatans 'You Cross My Path [McSleazy Remix]'

The new Charlatans album is one of the best albums I've heard in a while. Their last couple of albums have been tied up with label problems, so they dumped the whole label issue, recorded it themselves and gave it away through XFM. If this is what bands sound like when they don't have label pressure on them, then I suggest we burn down the the major's offices immediately.... This was the first track released from the new stuff, and for the most part, this remix doesn't deviate from the original.... until the middle. Have fun.....

Bloc Party 'Flux [McSleazy remix]'

Damn, it's been so long since I put a remix online I've forgotten how to do this....

I recently saw Bloc Party in Glasgow (supported by The Foals, who despite only having about 40cm of space on the stage managed to rock the whole place). Their first encore was this song, and it did take everything up a couple of notches.

This version is slowed down to (selfishly!) fit in with the tempo of the things I usually play out. Hope it doesn't suffer at all for the drop in tempo, but I guess you'll be the judge of that....
